The X8R comes in a smaller package than the previous 8-channel receiver, but with more features. The new SmartPort supports the new hubless sensors as well as the older hub analog sensors. 8 standard servo outputs are supported on the X8R, and you can access all 16 channels using Sbus lines and Sbus-enabled servos or using FrSky S.BUS decoders. Or, you can combine 2 X8R receivers and the channels will be synchronized 1-8 on the first channel and 9-16 on the second channel. the X8 protocol is also backwards compatible! In D8 mode, it works with DHT, DJT, DFT and DHT-U transmitter modules.
